How do I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior?
The Bible tells us that it is not by our works, but it is by faith in Jesus Christ that we receive our salvation. As followers of Christ we lean on what Jesus did on the Cross for us. He came to earth in the flesh of man, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day so that we could be saved through Him. All that is required is that we put our trust in Him. To receive salvation, go before God and say this prayer:
Jesus, I believe you are God
I admit that I have fallen short and am a sinner
I believe that you died on the cross as payment for my sins
I receive my salvation from what you did on the cross
If you've gone before God, sincerely putting your trust in Him, you are now saved
and a member of God's family!

Now that I have received Jesus, what's next?
Once you have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are now a member of God's Kingdom. As a follower of Christ you should do the following:
Continue to seek the Lord daily
Read His Word which is the Bible
Pray in the name of Jesus
Attend Church and be filled with His presence
Bring all your cares in this world to Him
Lean on God's grace and mercy
Love the Lord God with all of your heart, all of your soul, and with all your mind
And you'll never be the same again, in Jesus name!
